Trump is his own worst enemy. Nearly every time he opens his mouth, you can bet that he is telling a lie. Now it may just be an embellishment, such as “…we have the greatest economy EVER!”, “I had the largest crowd to ever assemble in Washington!”, which is bad and doesn’t show integrity, but it isn’t a deal breaker.
There are the lies that matter that will cause him to lose his base and cost the Republican Party in the upcoming mid-terms and perhaps even beyond 2028. “I will show you my taxes as soon as the IRS is through with them.”, “We will build a big, beautiful wall and Mexico will pay for it.”, “If I’m elected, my administration will be the most transparent ever!”, “We will release the documents on JFK, RFK, MLK Jr., the attempted assassinations on me, and the Epstein files.”
Trump, in his unwillingness to level with the American people who “hired” him, has become the “Deep State” that he railed against during the runup to the last election. He has been reticent since winning the election, and lately, outright belligerent to anyone who questions why his administration is stonewalling information he promised. Promises made, promises kept, right?
Although a massive amount of information was released on JFK, nothing was earth shattering and it was mainly additional documentation to what has already been publicly known. Here is the crux of the matter, if a lone-nut assassin was responsible for the murder of JFK and acted alone, why was there so much secrecy, in the interest of “National Security”, for over 60 years?
Nothing new on RFK, or MLK Jr. and no one even talking about releasing additional information pertaining to those assassinations. Forensic examination of Robert Kennedy’s wounds, based on Dr. Thomas Noguchi, doesn’t match eyewitness testimony of the location of Sirhan Sirhan but we are still being told there was no other assailant involved.
Stephen Paddock, the Vegas shooter who was able to fill his room with 21 suitcases without question before allegedly killing 58 and wounding more than 800, reportedly ended his own life with a gunshot to the head. We know nothing more than we did in the immediate aftermath of this killing spree.
What about Thomas Matthew Crooks? Don’t worry if you can’t place him, he doesn’t present much better than Mr. Paddock except as a prop to help propel Trump to the presidency. Trump got his ear pierced by Crooks but a father and husband, Cory Comperatore, lost his life shielding his family from the would-be assassin’s bullets.
Trump and crew have spoken repeatedly about how information in the Epstein file would name associates and, if evidence revealed criminal activity, they would face the consequences of their actions. Quotes are available from Trump, J.D. Vance, Alina Habba, Dan Bongino, Kash Patel, Pam Bondi, and others. We know the FBI has been in possession of the 97 page “Contacts Book” with “dozens of pages” containing the names of, as Time puts it, alleged victims along with the names of world leaders, famous performers and business titans. In the Ghislaine Maxwell trial, this “Contacts Book” was presented as Government Exhibit 52.
On July 7th, the DOJ/FBI released a memo to their friends at the left-leaning AXIOS to inform the public that there was no “Client List” and Jeffrey Epstein committed suicide in the one-minute video gap that occurs daily at the Metropolitan Correctional Center in NYC. He must have gotten lucky and wanted his death to be a private affair. There was no explanation as to why Trump and crew had sensationalized this horrendous story of child sex trafficking and prostitution with possible blackmail of powerful people in compromising situations.
Now there are several reasons why Trump would wish to “move on”. Possibly, he lied about his relationship with Jeffrey Epstein and how recent they had been in contact. My opinion is Trump was most likely Jeffrey Epstein’s “one phone call”, but I am very cynical. This smells like a turd and Trump can polish it all he wants but it’s still a turd.
Trump is now telling his MAGA base to get in line and forget about Jeffrey Epstein. He says there is more important work to do than worry about a “creep” that we shouldn’t be talking about. He and his administration are sounding more and more like the Biden Criminal Family we just expelled from the Whitehouse.
